april's shine day 2/3 time out: love and take care of your body - 2 vids

Do you love your body to life?:-) 

I do.

And therefore I use on my body as much as possible only stuff I could also eat. 

I heard about this concept when I was pregnant - and it immediately resonated with me. 

All these parabens en totalzens that do not grow in nature gave me the shivers but I could never "logically" put them away until I understood how our skin is like a big fine tuned sponge. 
And it's a conductive sponge at that, as everything you put on your skin (also your clothes) is taken in at a microscopical level and send beyond the barrier of the skin, into your body, bloodstream and beyond (yes, even your brain)..

Before going further into today's theme I want to apologize because I kinda lost the track of time and I missed a day. 

Somewhere between V.'s not collaborating very much as he discovers some borders that he was not aware of (like: he wants the wind to go away - for good!) and my own lack of sleep and big excitement for my biz and art and green smoothies, one day just slipped peacefully and unnoticeably through the cracks..

This morning I became aware of it because haha:-) I suddenly discovered what day it was (thank you, Saida!)..

I am going to make up for it by posting two days today (this one and day 18) and maybe, if I manage, two more one of the next days.Somehow I will get back on track.:-)

Today again a tip about using natural stuff - on your face. 

The same idea can be extended to washing your body and hair but, as you'll probably understand, I will not show you that:-) If you put oil on your hair and body, as a mask, let is get into your skin for 10-15 minutes and only then wash it with a cloth, under the shower. 
For your hair, please use a douche-cap to create a warm moist environment. Also, after the oil "bath" you might have to shampoo your hair one extra time to get all the oil out  - and maybe rinse it afterwards with lemon water or vinegar water. (as and indication, one lemon's juice or 1 tb. spoon vinegar for 1l water)

And today's empowering tip is the only extra blog post I have for time-out day2/3, as with day 1/3 I was told by some of you that it did not really feel like a time-out, given so many things to read and to do. Mea culpa:-)

This is an older vid I made, when Shining Mama was called Greenz 4 Momz:-) I also had longer hair and maybe the quality of the vid isn't that great - but you will get the picture :-~)
