apple Juices are amazing and today I am going to talk about a few combinations and what they are good for. As I already said in my article about green smoothies vs. green juices I am a slow juicer lover. But I also do not want to encourage consumerism so I would like to invite you to use whatever you have, be it a centrifuge :-) I remember my parents used to have an old one when we (my brother and I) were children and it was sounding like a factory and a train together. It was making good juice from what I can remember but you might have a more silent variant:-) Drink the juices alone, not together with food. Leave 1/2 before and 1/2 after with no food - except if you eat the same stuff you put in your juice:-) But if you leave it alone it will integrate better and sooner in your body. Carrots have beta-carotene. Apples have vitamin C. Cucumber are watery and give your body the most wonderful hydration. And beets are wonderful for your liver (and sweet for your tong). cucumber I really love the fresh apple-ginger-carrot juice. You could wake me up in the middle of the night for that. I totally forget to chew this one! :-) It is full with anti oxidants and we all hear how amazing that is for your body. Use for example 4 carrots and 2 apples and a piece of ginger to taste. You could also experiment with quantities yourself after trying this one. I also love the beet-carrot-apple-ginger juice:-) It's really sweet so pay attention if you do that in the morning and you are sensitive to this kinda thing. I am not - so I love me some of this in the morning if I do not have the green smoothie around. Also good as a pick me up at 4 o'clock (did not have any dips in 2 years, since I started with the green smoothies and juices but you might). Or as an early half of a dinner instead of a salad. Any combination is good between these guys, and if you combine all of them, you have a wonderful refreshing, not so sweet and perfumed fresh juice.
It is said that the best it is to drink the juices at room temperature but if it's summer and hot (I hope to see that soon) - maybe you'd like to put it in the fridge for a little while or put some ice blocks in it. Enjoy! Comments are closed.
