![]() april's shine: day 5, dry brushing Today I was inspired to talk to you about dry brushing. I use a big douche brush, with natural powerful hairs (it has to brush, not caress:-D) and with a long handle (that's how you get to some places, even if you did not go to yoga for a while..). I put a few drops of lavender essential oil (use whatever you fancy) on one of the hands (left in my case) and I first brush my palm until the oil dissolves in and between the hairs of the brush. With that, I brush my whole body (naked, please do not attempt this fully clothed). I begin with the hand on both sides, going in the direction of the heart. After my arms, I do the torso - also in the direction of the heart. I do the front first and than the back. I end it with the legs, from the toes up and then the buttocks:-) You can do whatever variation of this you can think of: some people like to begin with the toes..
frequency: every day; when: I do it in the evening, before I go to sleep; you could also use it before of the shower sometimes. Or instead. I'm just saying:-) why it's good for you: in no time your skin will feel as soft as a baby's buttocks. You will also start loving your body more and be more conscious about it, even those wobbly bits.. If you are a man, maybe you do not want the skin of a baby's buttocks. I totally understand that. In this case, do it for Baloo:-) I am quite curious as to what you will think about this.. Will you be willing to try it:?-) Please let me know:-) The thing is, we all have dead skin coming to the surface, This massage helps your body rejuvenate and it is a verrrrryyyyy niiiice massage. When I do not do it, I miss it a lot. where I learned it from: this is also one of those things I must've read in a few places before I decided to try it..
