April's shine - day 7: one day detox

Try a 24 hours detox mini-feast with only natural, organic and not processed foods of any sort, no sugar, no coffee, no processed teas. 

Do this between 18.00 the first evening and 18.00 the next evening.

Do this in a day without very much activity and when you maybe can stay at home or even better, in an open space in nature.. Please have a toilet on close distance as you would probably go to the toilet more:-) 

Begin the first evening: stop eating after 18.00 hours. 
You can drink lots of water, fresh juices or smoothies and go on a no-caffeine policy (no to black or green tea or coffee, yes to herbs teas for example). 

Eat the next day only vegetables, salads and fruit as breakfast - or a big green smoothie! 

Drink lots and lots of loved and filtered (or even better, ideas here) water, you can try it with lemon and even honey if you wanna, or go the whole way and mix it with chlorella and other green stuff..

Lunch - make it also light, a salad or a soup with not much to chew. 

You could also go the length by making your lunch a green raw soup, for example blending:
  •  the leafy greens and/or sprouted greens;
  • Brazil nuts milk (look here for a milk making vid) 
  • and garlic + salt in place of honey and cinnamon.

When the evening comes, try to make your dinner also light, cooked vegetables with a bit of (raw and organic) butter / coconut oil and a bit of salt. 

During this day, eat and drink enough to not get hungry (and consequently eat a whole living pig in the second evening) but also do not eat so much that you'd feel full.
(to check that, after you eat bend forward and if something comes back, you had too much:-) )

Also, keep in mind that your stomach is around the size of your fist in it's normal state - and to feel lighter you can also eat easy to digest things along the day.

Possible snacks: cucumber, carrots, fennel, celery stems, cherry tomatoes, etc. and fruits of all kind, cut in pieces and on the table for you to easily take.

The emptiness and unrest you will possibly feel is more emotional than anything else, try to see what the emptiness is and where it comes from inside. 
Maybe use your journal and if you get pissed at me for proposing "something impossible", note that also:-) 

And try to feel the emptiness and not stuff yourself with "things to do"..:-)

Stuff could come up - keep in mind: better "out" than "in". Look at it and you might find out some things about yourself that you forgot.

Be sweet and loving with yourself. Do your best and if you still eat that piece of chocolate, so be it:-)

Physically you should feel quite a bit lighter by the second evening.

You can do this once in a while if you want to get conscious about what is going on inside you or about what makes you feel good - or if you had one or a few days of heavy eating.

This kind of days could also get you used to the "basic taste" of what the real food is.
