![]() delft's blue 20x20cm Today I would like to introduce another encaustic piece. It is called "delft's blue" and was inspired by living in Delft, where the famous ceramics is coming from. The blue in my case is from a very old Pelikan ink that my grandfather bought for me when I was in first grade. It is the only material thing that I still have from him except a "many colors" pencil. I took this ink bottle with me everywhere iI traveled although we do not use fountain pens anymore at this time and age. And I decided to use a bit of it in this piece because I wished I could talk to him sometimes. On cardboard canvas, with clear bees wax, imprinted with lace. Comments are closed.
