Encaustic.

The tree of life.

Encaustic is a big passion of mine and I do not do it as often as I want it to. I would probably only do that for months and months and months and months and thus disappear  in the wax, not eating or sleeping..

Luckily I have V. to keep me grounded and here:-) Lucky artist mama I am.

This is many layers of different colors of bees wax with a few of clear medium in-between. I carved the circles in.
