But.. somewhere in the afternoon something was stinking. I thought that it was the fish package. I got rid of it.. I thought there were other things.. Only this morning, when I wanted to finally the pate, oeps!! I discovered that it was my seeds that were stinking as hell.. I realize now that I did not wash them enough and I did not love them enough.. If you do not want this to happen to your sprouts - ever - you maybe should purchase a better sprouting system.. If you are interested, let me know, I will tell you what you can best do.
So I did no pate yesterday or today.. I will sprout some more sunflower seeds and I will not let them go bad.. hopefully..
- 6 big kale leaves (the new kind, if you did not see my special kale, please look here at yesterday's green smoothie);
- 2 lemons (peeled and cut)
- 2 appels (with peel and all)
- 1 banana (yes, peeled :-) )
- lots of water (filtered with Brinta and loved by Ama)
- the rests of a cucumber and some peer left overs from yesterday
- ginger (to taste)
Today I really wanted something light and more liquid because yesterday my smoothie was a bit more die hard than I even can drink..
And there is a lesson for me and for us all maybe in this: to keep it up with a (healthy!) habit you have to like it. To do a green smoothie everyday I have to make it easy to drink and not think like blaaaargh, just another day's green stuff.
My green smoothie must be tasteful and drinkable, beautiful and with a good texture.
I will chew it, of course (that is a good idea with all smoothies and juices!), but I do not want any chunks in it..:-) First principle of green smoothies: Thou shall like it:-)
