How can you make your own organic, raw, crap free, birthday cake in just one hour and for 20% of the price in the shop?
If you're like me, you care about what goes into your body and into the bodies of your family and friends.
You're conscious about the environmental and health impacts of pre-packaged and/or conventionally grown foods, so you buy organic whenever possible. You work hard to keep petroleum products off of and out of your food, right?
But then there’s the usual (birthday) cake, that puts us into a slightly different category… the Flip-Flop category.
On one level we know that we want to eat healthy. On the other level, there is that birthday cake that our mother used to make that we crave - and the only next best thing is the one we can buy..
So, we check the price and the look of the organic tart at the health food store. Yikes!
And that’s the flip-flop: price and looks vs. our health and our values. It certainly happens to me.
What do we do? Truth be told, we usually buy the one that we can afford and that looks birthday-y enough, even though it contains a few things that we rather not be putting into our bodies. The refined sugars, the gluten, the colors, the not so organic and the is-that-GMO-can't-be ingredients, the this-cream-tastes-like-plastic.. And we say, well, it's my birthday just one time a year.. But then, there's our children's and spouse birthdays, that special occasion that we want to celebrate, our friend's weddings (or celebrating divorce!).. All these times that we eat that cake that does not really align.
But what if you didn’t need to choose? What if your budget could afford the birthday cake you’d really like to have? That would take the same time that you'd have to spend going to the shop?
The answer is simple: Make Your Own (Birthday) Cake.
in this workshop you'll learn to make 2 recipes: easy, affordable, beautiful and above all, yummy.
Would you please let me know if you're coming? (06-38 57 64 64)
