On november 2nd 2012 I had the amazing privilege of talking to one of the most respected and acclaimed raw food authors and speakers, David Wolfe.
He came to The Netherlands to launch the Dutch version of Eating for Beauty and I was overjoyed when he kindly agreed to answer a few questions for me.
We talked about how (breastfeeding mothers) can empower themselves. About what the best way is for children to learn about food. About his own start in the Raws, The SuperHerbs and The SuperFoods
I went there with my son (at the time 3 and a half) and I was a bit anxious as to how the interview would go, whether my son would want to "cooperate". A few days in advance I told him about my excitement and I showed him pictures with David Wolfe, telling my son that we would soon go to meet David.
The D(avid)day came and my son was excited to play with David Wolfe..:-)
I took a lot of toys for me, food and everything we would need, plus a recorder and off we went with the train.. Or so I thought:-) In place of a trip of 2 hours we ended up doing more than 3 hours and a half on the way and were 3 minutes late to our appointment with David. Exhausted from our long and adventurous trip, my son just went to sleep in my arms and made almost no sound through out the whole interview!:-)
David was so gracious to answer also some personal questions and it was awesome to meet him. He is such a beautiful person and just being in his presence is magic.
It was my first interview ever and what a blast start!
So I decided that, instead of a summit (like I announced earlier) , I will do a series of interviews, free for everyone to listen to, for as long as possible.
So here is to you, lovely mothers, I give you:... (applause...) ...David Wolfe.
