I believe in signs. I believe in a greater power of life that guides us all to live as a whole on this little Planet, as one immense organism. I also believe that each and every one of us is capable of reading these signs and that, in order to be in balance withe everything that surrounds us, we better not forget how to do that.. I will not go ten steps backwards when I see a black cat, it's not this kind of signs I am referring to. But if I want to get somewhere and three means of transport break down before I even start on my journey, I would start to wonder if going is such a good idea.
On the other hand, I am constantly catching myself forgetting all this above :-)
Today, for example, is Wednesday. In this little family of mine, Wednesday equals a trip to the farmer's market in a nearby town. Recently I even stand behind a market stall selling raw treats sometimes, thanks to Heike from Ciao Bella Canella. I love it all, the interaction with people buying or just tasting, the making of the treats, the energy I and they get from it, all of it.
Today I just went there for the weekly organic produce shopping and for tasting Heike's yum creations.
Today a very special thank you for the "4Ms" - the mastermind that I started visiting recently. It's a warm and caring, conscious place to talk about business and I enjoy it a lot.
Thank you for V. and his passion for drawing and playing. I know most of the kids are like that but what are we doing to our kids?
We are teaching them to walk and run and then we say: sit down!
We are teaching them to talk and sing and then we say: be quiet!
We are teaching them to see everything and then we say: look only at the teacher and pay attention only to that!
As much and as long as I am able to, I intend to preserve my son's freedom to jump and run, talk and sing whenever he want to, look wherever, every moment of our lives.
Also a big thank you for the inspiration to go on and ask about the missing piece of my pasta machine. I have found it and bought it and this afternoon I am going to use it and be belated :-) I am making no pasta, just Ficroes - but just as well :-)
V. (the mama) and me (the baby)
Thank you so much for all the inspiration that poured through me for this April's SHINE.
I have enjoyed being in the flow with it very much and I have also learned a lot about myself.
I have also made some new friends in this process - thank you, Internet :-)
And it was all possible while living the amazing life I have next to V.
I have made art everyday, drank green elixirs every day, took great care of my body, I have written and spoken many words, I danced and I celebrated! Today is the final day and look how far we've got!
The weather is also much better, spring is in the air, the trees are blossoming and the birds are singing.
Life is good.

You are my favorite.:-)
I am so in love with today's ideas:
One: I decided to be a part of a 30 days May challenge led by Marisa. Every day we (some 100 people) will put up a video made that day. The idea of this challenge is to get comfortable with being before the camera.
This is not exactly my idea, though, because I feel quite comfortable already. So I was wondering about what hidden nudge was the one that told me to participate in this, not led by me, challenge..:-)
And than click! The Idea :-) I will have a "dear Life" series in May!!! It is going to be so much fun!
It will also be interesting to see how it unfolds as I haven't solved all the pieces of the puzzle, as to how to integrate the vids here, or in my May programs launch..
I am not even sure I will want to make a vid every single day, but I love the challenge - especially because I realized (yesterday) that such a challenge prolonged, extends the "time" and makes it more conscious.
It's also a great way to journal. It is going to be great to look back on the Dear Life video series:-)
V. helping in the garden
Today we got a wonderful present.
I had just found it - somebody put it in our "give away" corner in the group where we live.. (yeah, we have such a wonderful corner!)..
Its a lamp with many many colors. How is that for a bets bets metaphor? :-)
It's a round lamp and it even give purple and lila light.
V. played with it almost the whole day.
It's the perfect lamp for in the bedroom.
We had a salt one but I was looking for some fun lamp for V that he can also put on.
It's with led lamps so it won't get warm, it can just be on the floor and V can hold it.
What a wonderful invention!
it has 16 colors so 16 times thank you ! :-)
enchanted - mixed media painting by Ioana hanging in the group kitchen
Thank you for the eyes that see my art and my heart.
Thank you for the ears that hear my cry and my laughter.
Thank you for the lips that say words to me - I am grateful for love and I learned from some hate.
Thank you for my nose that smells the amazing flowers and my son's hair.
Thank you for my lungs that take in the air - just perfect for me - and let the oxygen - just perfect for me - flow through my blood.
Thank you for the Papa Sun, Mama Moon and Mama Earth. (two Mothers! Yeah!) (if you are wondering what that's all about, I wrote a children's story called "Sosolino the Little Star", and Papa Sun and Mama Moon are starring in it) (I will post about this story soon)..
Thank you from neighbors: I live in this wonderful group with some amazing people. I love them.
V. enjoying the market "crop"
Thank you for time:-) Like Gay Hendriks says, we create the time. We create everything so we create time also.. Today I am grateful that we were able to just take the time and do all the things we wanted to do, just basking through the day joyfully, no pressure and running, we got help when we needed some, we were in time for the train and the train was in time, we were in time in The Hague, in time for taking a great lunch that me and V. enjoyed to the last bite, we took our time and window shopped.
V. loved it today and the weather was soft, I had sandals on for the first time this year (and was amazed that I was the only one everywhere we traveled today!!). The only one small co... was that V. was not yet ready to believe it was warm weather (Mr. Wind is not yet a friend), and he considered it winter, he even asked for gloves!. I thought it a small price to pay if we would have a more peaceful journey:-) So that is how we went, me with short sleeves and sandals, he with his winter very thick coat, gloves and a warm coat cap:-)
picture by Sorin Onisor - Mara (so beautiful!)
I recently discovered the pictures of Sorin on FaceBook:-) I so love them, he really has a great style and as the subjects are just there for him as he lives in the wonderfully interesting rural Romanian world, the lighting and the photographic art are totally his :-)
Thank you, Sorin, for allowing me to use this picture and thank you, Ada-Maria for showing it to me:-)
So many thanks, today, Life.
For this picture:-)
Good morning! I wake up in our beautiful light sunny open windows, white with light colours bedroom. The sun shines outside and the breeze of the tranquil sea comes in to greet me. It’s a wonderful day. I slept wonderfully, dreamed and rested next to my loving husband and now he is off jogging on the beach. I hear the children downstairs preparing the four vitamix smoothies. Our natural bed smells like flowers in the field, like lavender and soft dry mint.. It is soft to the touch with the silky sheets. My body is happy and lean from the yoga of last evening, the dancing, the runs and the swims at the beach. I put my silk dress on and admire my toned wonderful legs in the mirror and the rest of my body that feels like dancing. I smile at myself and I say I love you. I really feel that to the last cell. Life is amazing and great and sweet. I go downstairs on our wooden stairs and it smells amazing with the sun going up in the sky. I admire again every step through our self sustainable house and I glance at our self sustainable forest garden with gratitude and giddy mouth watering thoughts about all the plants that grow there. I walk on my grounding leather sandals that feel like barefoot but save my feet from sharp shells on the beach.
Wow wow wow.
want some love?
